Birthday Adventures x 2 | Sedona & Scottsdale

I have a twin sister. Many years ago, we made a deal that we would go on an adventure for our birthday instead of trying to arrange a dinner or party with friends. This year, I was lucky and got two! One with my handsome man and the second with my (2min younger) sis. We jumped on a plane and headed south to Arizona.

Has anyone heard of The Griswalds? I mean, you should know them, unless your mom banned you from everything good in life. The Griswalds Head to Maui would be the movie title of this family vaca (boyfriend's family). It started with the drive out to Paia and Makawao - a $50 prize to whoever could find Nana's old lady musk (joking Nana, it smells amazing) the quickest. Update - no one found the exact bottle... but we did go on an hour adventure asking everyone in Makawao for it. And to cap the trip off... it ended with a flood warning (RAIN??). The amount of laughs made the rain disappear and the days go by way too fast.

7 cities | 7 days

Ok, if there is a seat sale A. I hope I know about it and B. I hope I am smart enough to pull the trigger. It just so happened, there were RT tickets to Ireland for $450CDN on KLM...this trip was a no brainer. The kicker was, it was a quick turn around. So we decided to make it a little spicy...7 cities in 7 days. And off we went.

Day 1 - Dublin, Ireland

Day 2 & 3 - Paris, France (1.5hr flight from Dublin)

Day 4 - 6 - Ireland (Sligo, Galway, Cliffs of Moher & Dublin)

It happened to be quite a rainy week in Vancouver (surprise, surprise) - so I started looking for flight of my favourite evening activities. I stumbled across flights to San Francisco and without hesitation they were booked. We left on a Friday morning and we were back to work Monday morning.
